Employment agency Manpower is looking for a recruiter in Terneuzen.
Responsibilities
As a recruiter you will be part of the HR team. The recruiter acts as first point of contact to internal clients (Dow Hiring Managers & Dow HR Recruiters) and external candidates to deliver advice, counsel and cost effective, integrated solutions in the field of Workforce Planning. You work closely together with the Talent acquisition specialist and Campaign specialist to optimize and accelerate hiring.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Understanding hiring needs of Hiring Managers and meeting those expectations during the recruiting process
- Provide a selection of pre-screened and interviewed candidates to the hiring managers
- Act as key contact between local HR workforce planning, hiring managers, Dow recruiters and applicants
- Proactively provide solution and approach to select specific candidates
- Provide information to local HR work force planning contacts, hiring managers as well as recruiters on the status of applicants/interviews

Job requirements
You:
- have at least a Bachelor degree
- have at least 1 year recruitment experience with demonstrated knowledge of HR practices and solutions
- have a good command of the English language (written & oral)
- preferably have good command in at least one other language
- must be able to communicate effectively at various levels, deal with resistance, conflict mediation and understand when to switch to what level
- are able to build relationships with clients through expertise and consultation
- are able to work as a team member to meet the clients needs
- have a high level of accuracy and eye for detail
- are familiar with hiring and advertising via social & digital media
- live less than 75 kilometers away from Terneuzen
Starting date
You preferably start as soon as possible.
