Underneath among other tasks the responsibilities were the Project cost Controller will be accountable for:
- He/She should be skilled with experience in large office and laboratory projects, large relocations, and demising activities.
- Will be working closely with the Program Manager and other Project and Construction Managers
- Understands the market prices/specifications and responsible for detailed project estimates.
- Will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring plan and forecast accuracy in Expense and Capital projects.
- As an analyst provides subject matter expertise, financial planning, value engineering opportunities, project spend coordination and is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the Project Management Office (PMO) and in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Provide appropriate level of detail on project cost status to ensure project budget and spend are consistent with scope requirements and project schedule milestones as defined by the framework for the projects
- Capable to create market competitive quotations
Functie-eisen
- Prefer a degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- thorough knowledge of cost management in building construction best practices, principles and techniques acquired during a minimum of 10 years experience in the field of cost management with experience in building project or building construction activities preferred.
- Candidate must have the ability to research project cost details, take initiative to investigate until satisfactory results are achieve, and to be able to defend the data.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent spreadsheet skills, including ability to prepare pivot tables and consolidate data from multiple sources
- Working knowledge of SAP systems a plus
- Excellent in Dutch and English (speak understand write read)
